MERRY XMAS AND A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

Scottish Kit Car Club
The Scottish Kit Car Club is a club for people who have an interest in kit or specialist cars!
Based in Scotland, with monthly meetings at the Grangemouth Rugby Club, Grangemouth and The Cotton Mill in Kilmarnock.
It's members come from all walks of life and spread from the Shetlands to Carlisle, the common bond is their desire to create something different out of an old car, the best form of recycling!
Do you have an old rusty Sierra, Escort, MX5, BMW 3 series, Fiesta or Triumph Herald where the mechanics are still good but rust has put an end to it being roadworthy? Don't scrap it, come along to one of our meetings or speak to one of us at the show and events we attend through out the year and find out what you can do with it.
Look on our website to find out which shows/events we will be attending and see some photos of our members cars!
Join the Club, you don't have to have a kit to join, just an interest in the cars.
Ford Sierra to Lotus 7 copy, Jaguar XJ6 to Cobra, or rusty MX5 to Ferrari Copy all is possible with a set of normal spanners, socket set, electric drill and files. You don't even need a garage, our present chairman built his first Lotus 7 replica from scratch, including chassis and Mk2 Escort, in his back garden during the winter!
You can even make a sports/utility car out of a Fiat Panda.
Want to know more? Then contact us, there may be a member in your area you can speak to.
We are a very social club, where the members and their wives/partners join in, attending shows around the country, a weekend away to show your car, the ladies shop around the bric a brac stands or we arrange days out to go for a social run. We even go away for a 3 day tour of different parts of the country, as far as one can go within the time, usually 12 to 20 cars in convoy up to 500 miles over the weekend! Yes we use our cars, after all why would you spend time and money on something and hide it in a garage only using it on sunny days?
Come along to one of our meetings, use the website and join the club there's more to a club than cars it's a great social centre!
